Join our Pilates Introduction Workshop and discover the benefits of this low-impact, full-body workout designed to improve your mobility, alignment, strength and overall wellness.

Have you ever questioned why we do certain exercises in a matwork class, where they come from or what muscles are actually being used? ….then this is the workshop for you!

Beth will work through and discuss 9 of the original matwork exercises from Joseph Pilates Return to Life Through Contrology.  

Explaining the intention and challenges of each exercise; breaking down each one showing how you can progress through each level.

In this 2 hour introductory session, you’ll:

•    Learn the fundamental principles of Pilates and proper alignment.
•    Practice 9 original matwork exercises with guided instruction to ensure safe and effective movements.
•    Build strength, increase flexibility, and improve posture.
•    Receive personalized guidance in a small group setting, perfect for beginners as well as experienced practitioners.

There will be different levels and modifications to help everyone progress within each exercise. 

Leave this workshop with a greater understanding of each exercise, which will allow you to make modifications and progressions within matwork classes with full confidence.
