Caroline has been in love with yoga since forever, and has studied the practice since 1990. She completed her teacher training in 2013 with certified ashtanga teacher John Scott and, in 2017, travelled to Mysore to study with renowned yogi Sharath Jois. Always a practice in progress, Caroline continues to learn with the likes of Lucy Crawford and other regarded teachers as often as she can.
Right now, Caroline is studying yoga therapy at The Minded Institute in London, and hopes to volunteer soon with the charity Ourmala. This amazing organisation works with refugees and asylum seekers, including survivors of trafficking, using trauma-informed yoga as a safe space to breathe and heal.
Caroline’s teaching follows the traditional ashtanga method, which emphasises ‘tristhana’ – breath, bandha and focused attention – to achieve self-transformation through practice.
