This is a nurturing and nourishing session combining slow flow sequences to gently raise energy levels and create heat to start and then mindfully hold restorative yoga postures, combining breathing and meditation. All restorative poses are held with the aid of ‘props’ such as yoga blocks, bolsters and blankets. With the aid of these ‘props’ poses are held for a longer period of time almost effortlessly, thus enabling deep relaxation that emphasizes the meditative aspect of yoga – the union of body and mind.
