Gentle and therapeutic yoga is an adaptation of yoga designed to manage specific problems, be they physical, mental or emotional.
The aim is to help people with a wide range of health concerns, including back pain, migraines, high blood pressure, stress, anxiety, chronic fatigue, asthma and COPD.
This special style of yoga is recognised by the NHS as an effective complementary therapy.
Gentle and therapeutic yoga is practised by yoga teachers with specialised training. Working with you one-to-one, your teacher will tailor and develop a yoga sequence for you to do at home.
As well as addressing specific health concerns, gentle and therapeutic yoga can bring you an overall sense of calm, peace and wellbeing.
We have weekly classes on Mondays 1.30 – 3pm with Penny, Wednesdays 9.15am with Tara and Thursdays 11am-12.30pm with John.
