This is a creative and playful yoga workshop designed & led by Katrina Fowler to build strength, mobility, and stability in dynamic, unexpected ways. Rather than serving simply as props or modifications, blocks become an integral part of the practice — increasing muscle engagement, sharpening body awareness, and creating new pathways into familiar poses.
Through thoughtfully sequenced, dynamic movement, this workshop:
Challenges the upper body, deep core, and legs while inviting the body to work in fresh and often surprising ways
Encourages intentional, supported transitions into and out of postures
Builds strength that feels both powerful and sustainable
Uses blocks as an extension of the body to amplify muscular engagement, refine alignment, and cultivate clarity and confidence in movement
Students can expect to experience familiar yoga poses from a new perspective, build strength in creative and engaging ways, and leave with practical tools they can integrate into their regular practice.
Best suited for practitioners with some yoga experience who enjoy exploring, learning, and challenging themselves in a supportive environment.
