The tai chi classes are suitable for beginners, as no previous knowledge is required. It combines deep breathing and relaxation with gentle and slow flowing movements like a meditation in motion. It’s a great exercise for health and well being and can reduce stress and tension, improve balance, flexibility and co-ordination.
Tai Chi increases and enhance the flow of Qi( energy) in the body and takes you on a journey to explore your body energetics from the movement, coordination of the mind and the body.
The classes are run in studio and also streamed online on a Wednesday by a qualified Tai Chi instructor and a multiple Gold medalist and World Champion title holder, Yoko, who will teach you step by step into the Tai Chi movement. Yoko has also won a place on the official Team GB who will be competing at the World Championships in September 2020 – (postponed due to COVID 19).
