We will explore the key elements to successful arm balancing, from breath control and dristi (gaze point), to the activation of the wings of the upper body and an in-depth look into the shoulders, their conditioning, care and mobility.
Whether you are just starting out with bakasana (crow) or have begun tackling pinca (forearm balance) or wish to embark on the challenge of handstands, there will be something here for you. Variations will be progressive and inclusive.
Corrie discovered Ashtanga Yoga in 2000 studying under Alexander Medin. In 2014 she was granted Level 2 Authorisation by Sharath Jois in Mysore. Having completed the Primary, Intermediate and Advanced A series, Corrie has begun the journey of unravelling the Advanced B series. Corrie has an MA in the Traditions of Yoga and Meditation at SOAS University London and teaches the Mysore programme at Triyoga Shoreditch in London.
